The Israel Medical Mission signs memorandum of cooperation with two NGOs

The Israel Medical Mission has launched a joint effort by several non-governmental organizations to promote and implement advanced medical technologies for physical rehabilitation in Ukraine. In the future, the Israel Medical Mission Charitable Foundation, the Ukrainian Medical Mission and the Ukrainian Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine will work together on this. They signed a memorandum.

The Israel Medical Mission in Ukraine, together with NGOs, will study the possibilities of qualitative changes, reform, reorganization and modernization of the rehabilitation sector in Ukraine. To this end, it is planned to organize training and introduce specialized telemedicine technologies, tele-rehabilitation and remote patient diagnostics tools into medical practice.
Rehabilitation has become a priority in Ukrainian medicine as hundreds of thousands of people have sustained various injuries and traumas as a result of the war. The Ukrainian medical system was unprepared for such a large number of victims, both in terms of logistics and the availability of a sufficient number of specialists to solve non-standard peacetime problems. To date, charitable foundations and medical NGOs have been trying to fill the gaps in these areas. Among such organizations is the Israel Medical Mission Charitable Foundation.
