On February 7, 2024, the Israel Medical Mission took part in a working meeting with representatives of the Center for Democracy and Rule of Law, an analytical and advocacy centre that has been working in the public sector of Ukraine since 2005, focusing on strengthening the rule of law, developing independent media and strengthening the role of civil society in Ukraine.
The event was organised by the Inter-Factional Deputy Association “Support for Volunteer Movement” together with the Golda Meir Institute for Civil Society Development.
The participants discussed ideas and projects of cooperation between the Inter-Factional Deputy Association “Support for Volunteer Movement” and CEDEM in the process of amending migration legislation to simplify the procedure for entry and stay of foreign volunteers in Ukraine during martial law, cooperation to help our defenders and Ukrainians, and the issue of establishing a volunteer council at regional military administrations, regional councils, city councils to further involve representatives of the volunteer council in joint cooperation with the Inter-Factional Deputy Association “Support for Volunteer Movement”.
