On 14 February 2024, the head of the Israeli Medical Mission, Eliezer Feldman, took part in the conference: “Telerehabilitation-2024: Experience and Prospects”.
The event was organised by the Kundiev Institute of Occupational Medicine of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Association of Physical Medicine, Rehabilitation and Balneology and the Electronic Healthcare System in Ukraine.
The purpose of the conference was to discuss the current state, prospects for the development of tele-rehabilitation, current problems of physical therapy, occupational therapy and experience and practices of telemedicine.
Iryna Sysoyenko, President of the Ukrainian Association of Physical Medicine, Rehabilitation and Balneology, delivered a welcoming speech and spoke about the legal aspects of telemedicine implementation.
Eliezer Feldman noted that the IMM is ready to assist in the creation of a telemedicine rehabilitation system. In his speech, he spoke about the experience of using telemedicine equipment by the IMM, the importance, features and directions of using telemedicine equipment to solve a number of important issues.
