On 6 February 2024, a meeting was held between the leadership of the Israeli Medical Mission and the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine, its member organisations, and Ukrprofozdorovnytsia PJSC.

Hryhorii Osovyi, Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine, spoke about the work carried out by trade unions aimed at rehabilitating victims and military personnel injured during hostilities. He also mentioned the possibilities of the property complex of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine for rehabilitation and recreation.

Eliezer Feldman, the head of the IMM, noted his readiness to cooperate with the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine, in particular, in the creation of a rehabilitation centre for the military and people affected by the war, as well as in the training of personnel for this work.

The parties also discussed the possibilities of introducing and further developing adaptive sports in Ukraine aimed at people with disabilities and people with disabilities.

During the negotiations, the parties agreed on the need to cooperate in a more detailed study of rehabilitation issues, taking into account existing conditions and opportunities. It was also agreed to provide methodological support and further consider signing a Memorandum of Cooperation.

Together we can do more and contribute to the development of rehabilitation in Ukraine!
