On December 20, 2023, a meeting of representatives of public organizations, charitable foundations, and volunteers took place with people’s deputies who are members of the Inter-Factional Deputy Association “Support of the Volunteer Movement” and representatives of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine.
The meeting was organized by the “Shishiralai” Charitable Foundation and the Civil Society Development Institute named after Goldy Meir with support from Veteran Hub.
The purpose of the meeting of people’s deputies with representatives of charitable foundations and public organizations was to discuss the problematic issues of volunteers and help in solving them.
The event began with welcoming speeches from Oksana Zholnovich, Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine, Nazar Tanasyshyn, Deputy Minister of Social Policy, Andrii Kozlenko, Executive Director of the Israel Medical Mission, Tetyana Graban, Chairman of the Board of the Golda Meir Institute for Civil Society Development, organizer of the “Forum of Good Deeds”, Oleksandr Sosis, chairman of the supervisory board of the Golda Meir Institute for the Development of Civil Society, businessman, shareholder of Bank Alliance JSC, public figure and Zoya Shkurko, head of the public organization Petro and Mazepa.
The members of the Inter-factional Deputy Association “Support of the Volunteer Movement” also joined in the introductory speech, namely:
