The Israel Medical Mission Charitable Foundation congratulated the staff of the Kyiv hospital on the International Nurses’ Day. International Nurses’ Day celebrates the contribution of nurses to the development of society. In Ukraine today, hospital teams fulfill an important mission to quickly and efficiently restore the health of our defenders.

It was decided to celebrate Nurses’ Day internationally in 1974 under the auspices of the International Council of Nurses (ICN). May 12 was chosen as the date – the birthday of Florence Nightingale, one of the founders of the Nurses’ Service.
