Within the framework of the MOBILE MEDICAL HELP charity project, free primary medical consultations were provided to residents of the urban-type settlement of Kodra in the Makariv village community of the Bucha district of Kyiv region.
Almost two dozen patients came to the reception. Many of them survived the occupation in early 2022. They needed specialized advice, which was provided free of charge by the medical specialists of the MOBILE MEDICAL HELP. Most patients had complaints of high blood pressure, and many were diagnosed with autoimmune thyroiditis. The villagers underwent ultrasound diagnostics.
During the hostilities in February-March 2022, the Russian occupiers shelled the small village of Kodra several times with Grad multiple rocket launchers. Several houses were destroyed, and the village lost its family doctor and specialized doctors. Several local residents died as a result of the hostilities, and several more are missing.
The MOBILE MEDICAL HELP project has been implemented since mid-2022 with the support of the Institute of Biology and Medicine of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, the Telemedicine Center of the Ariel University of Israel, and ZiphyCare Inc.
