is a public charitable organization with the main goal to provide assistance and support to the medical sector in Ukraine as a whole, as well as to all its components.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Problem<\/span><\/span><\/h2>

The unprecedented challenge faced by the medical industry of Ukraine during Russia’s full-scale military aggression against Ukraine made us think about the systematic assistance that specialists from different countries can provide to the Ukrainian people.<\/span><\/span> This is how we came up with the idea of creating the “Israeli Medical Mission” charity fund.<\/span><\/span> The war has caused mass displacement of people, exacerbation of serious diseases, spread of diseases that were rare in the past, mental health problems, professional burnout and displacement of health workers, destruction of infrastructure and supply chains of medical drugs and medicines, gigantic need for rehabilitation of war victims.<\/span><\/span> The consequences of war injuries will require special efforts from the state and society to restore and rehabilitate a huge number of Ukrainians for many years to come.<\/span><\/span> We are convinced that a country that is being renewed needs a healthy and capable nation, therefore we want and are ready to fight for the availability and systematic rehabilitation of Ukrainians, helping to establish a national policy of physical and psychological rehabilitation.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Goal<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n
The purpose of IMM activity is to improve the level of access of the population of Ukraine, both civilians and military personnel, to high-quality, systematic, modern, multidisciplinary and timely medical care, in particular rehabilitation, and to support the effective functioning of health care institutions.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

<\/b>assistance to state, academic and communal health care institutions in the implementation of rehabilitation methods by attracting qualified foreign doctors for training and education in the field of physical therapy, occupational therapy, psychological rehabilitation and social adaptation<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

support of existing and established rehabilitation centers, their teams in their work and development.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

<\/b> organization of training of specialists in the field of physical rehabilitation medicine, physical therapy, occupational therapy, specialists of multidisciplinary teams in the field of restorative medicine, psychological support and assistance<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

assistance in the supply of medical preparations and medicines, special rehabilitation and diagnostic equipment to state, academic and communal health care institutions<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

assistance to de-occupied communities through the organization of mobile mobile medical clinics providing primary consultation and diagnostic medical care<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

assistance in the provision of psychological assistance to those associated with post-traumatic syndrome due to the consequences of war, death or murder of loved ones, being under occupation, in captivity, manifestations of violence, records of murders, hardships of evacuation, loss of the meaning of life, not understanding how to exist after the loss of status, property, environment, crises in the family, as well as forced immigration<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

– patients over 18 years of age after experiencing acute distress, deep and long-term maladjustment, loss of social role, mental trauma or bereavement;<\/p>\n

– persons with special needs\/disabilities;<\/p>\n

– internally displaced persons;<\/p>\n

– elderly;<\/p>\n

– medical workers.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
