On 14 February, a press conference was held to present the project “Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Health of Women Affected by War”, which was attended by the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Israel Medical Mission, Feldman Eliezer.<\/p>\n

The goal of the project is to build a comprehensive centre at the State Institution “Institute of Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine” to rehabilitate the mental, physical and reproductive health of women and adolescent girls, restore their hormonal balance, homeostasis, and restore their health after all types of injuries caused by wounds, combat trauma and diseases in the context of hostilities and long-term stress.<\/p>\n

Special attention will be paid to women in the combat zone and women returning from captivity.<\/p>\n

Feldman Eliezer noted that we are in dire need of a system of rehabilitation of women’s health, and the Centre to be created can become the methodological and educational heart of this system of women’s health recovery in Ukraine.<\/p>\n
